What People Are Saying
“
I’ve taken a plethora of classes taught by Yossera Bouchtia and they have not only shaped me as a screenwriter, but also as a person. Working with Yossera, I’ve observed how patient and passionate she is as a writer and a teacher. She makes the time to help anybody who needs it and is always there encouraging you on. She’s the type of person to think outside of the box on a multiple of different levels.

“
Yossera is the best. She always has a unique perspective and poses challenging questions to help us get a better understanding of the stories we're trying to tell and how to tell them best. Yossera is also an extremely dedicated mentor. She's always created and maintained a comfortable space for collaboration. I think I can speak for myself and my peers when I say that she is someone we all feel comfortable going to for additional advice and guidance. She's also very cool and that should be known.

Yossera made it a fun learning experience - I definitely am now way more advanced than I was before in screenwriting. The course work, class discussions, and feedback on our scripts was all excellent. It really helped me become a stronger writer. Yossera did an amazing job on helping me expand my ideas. I think she should continue to run the class the way she does because in the long run, all of her students come out with more knowledge and understanding than they had going in.

The environment of the classroom is very open and non–judgmental and that makes me more comfortable sharing my work. I also like how accessible the professor is for questions!
